Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll. I just love the idea of finding oneself in a strange place with all the strange characters. One heck of an adventure!

I have a book at home, it's name means The Book, It was sold more than any other book. It has 36 authors and took 25 hundred years to write. I've been reading it for 30 years and still it speaks to me. It changes my mood and teaches me to love.

I used to read it many hours everyday. I don't read it that often as I once did. Much of it stays with me. When I need a reference , I look it up. When I hurt , I read it.

whether you have read it or not, you know it's name without my saying.

Those that don't read it at all condemn it and will tell you things about it with the voice of authority. There are places on this earth it is banned. Some people possess a single page and keep it as their most valued possession. They will never know the whole story but the single page is life altering.

You can find it in every motel and hotel room in the United States , yet it cannot be found in our schools. 100 years ago it could be found there.

I will continue to read and hide the words in my heart.

I have read many other books, but there is none like this.
please accept my humble rendering of the greatest of all books.

Its really hard to just choose just one. So I won't. I'll tell you my 3 most favorite books of all time and why.

Clan of the Cavebear- Because the main character, Ayla, is absolutely amazing. She goes through hell and still amazes you with her strength to carry on. If I ever have a daughter; her name will be Ayla.

The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe- Because it is every kids dream to find a secret world.

And my third favorite is actually a series by Laurell K. Hamilton. Its called the Anita Blake series. I love those books for no other reason than they captivated me. I could not put one of those books down till I was finished with it. I did everything with one of those books in my hand for months. And I really do mean everything. My bf got mad cause I would stay up all night to finish the one I was reading before I went to bed.

p.s. the Clan of the Cavebear is the first book of a series too. Ive read all of them as well. Waiting on the final book of the series as a matter of fact.
