I just need an idea to make a feasible, working instrument on which I can play a recognizable song. It doesn't have to be complicated, but I am limited to my own handiwork and the materials found in my own house. I'm also supposed to play the song without telling my classmates what song it is, and I only get credit if they can recognize the song. This basically eliminates simple string plucking and maracas. Any ideas and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've been in one student film by a high-school aged director. I met him when he posted a flyer for auditions.
^He and I have since had a falling-out, so he can't help me or anything.

Now I'd like to know other ways to get involved in student films, preferably by high school or college aged people.

I am a writer. I want to put out a graphic novel. I would like to work with an artist. I don't know the basic for what a graphic novelist with or without an artist will need to do. I want to know where I can find an artist willing to work with me and what kind of contract will we have to have between us to work together. Actually, I'm looking for a two book series. They're about a teenage (high school?) couple who fall in love, run off together. The girl has lupus and ends up getting ill while off with the love of her life. I read it when I was in junior high, sixth grade (about 13 years ago). I think the girl's family runs a diner (in the book). I really stink...can't think of character names or anything....
