I'm learning salsa, merengue, rumba, bachata, and swing. I have a terrible music ear so I'm wondering are there any R&B or hip-hop songs I can use? Any song ideas would be great these are just my preferences.

In reading "The Secret" I understand it as this. The person who visualizes and concentrates on the thing, ie: the end result of their efforts, they will get there. Example: the child who wants to be a major league ball player. Plays for years and sees himself there, will get as far as he allows his efforts and attempts to go, barring any interferance or injury. By the same "law of attraction", the evil doer has seen in his mind over and over again the thing that they want and if it's a set of wheels (even if its on a car that might have to be stolen 1st) he might get it, if he's willing to let his vision turn into need and then greed etc. So good (positive) thinking can lead to effort to get into a job by way of education such as a Nurse, or Chiropactor, or a Golf Champion (Tiger always new what he wanted to be). Consuming yourself with whatever thought finds a way out into the physical. And if you think that bad things just happen, you're wrong. They were conceived first.

Well I see it in a book by Sir William Temple, but other sources (on the internet, but not Wiki) are saying Thomas Fuller. It's a memorable quote. Sir William Temple's "Upon the Gardens of Epicurus" was written in 1685.

I am a sophomore in college and need to declare my major soon. I love to read and write and I consider myself to be alright at both things. I was thinking English would be a good fit for me. I've always had dreams of being a book editor for childrens or young adult books. But I'm wondering if English would be the right major? Would it give me the experience and correct classes for this job? Or would, let's say Journalism be more suitable?

I know of this really great book by Lois Lowery & its about these 2 girls, one is Jewish & the other is American. The Nazis are invading Denmark (the setting) & Ellen (the Jew) & her family are seperated. Annemarie (American) & her family decide to hide her in their house...which is very dangerous. theres alot more 2 this story, but anyone know the title???

I dunno, I'm kinda torn on this one. On one hand, I hate that the tragedy happens, but the outcome and aftermath proves invaluable. I wish it didn't have to occur, but then how would I find anything else out? If you want a tale to better describe my situation (or one anyway) click on my profile, and go to my question 'is western medicine total garbage'. Think of it on a global scale if you would like. Let me know! Thanks ~N
