Unfortunately, the statistics aren't good. With their impatience and youth working against them, and their inability to strategize through problems in a logical manner, they'd soon seek divorce, not understanding that marriage takes WORK to be successful.

Well done a fantastic question, one that I have actually never thought off. Honestly when I think about it I think that yes they would have had a good marriage, only due to the fact that this is just a story and in all storys we have a happy ending, hense the fact we dont get an ending to this story, it ends just before the final hurdle so to speak, we stop at the tragedy. Whatever the outcome may have been, be sad or happy we still no that they had the epic love that most people never find and rarely experience in any one lifetime - just remember they loved each other fiercesly and although thay may have died in a tragic way, they found the one.

That's a good question. Probably not, because often marriages work out that way, don't they? Romeo and Juliet are lucky to have their love immortalized when it was still pure, unclouded by reality.

Hah! My English teacher thinks they're just a couple of dumb, silly teenagers and I happen to agree. Not to mention that Romeo was "in love" before! Their marraige would have lasted about a year, tops.

Though they loved each other very much, their families were at constant conflict with each other, which can be damaging on the relationship. They would have to either choose their familes or each others. A decision which would be very difficult to make. Some believe that blood is stronger then water.

They both were standing on a huge block of ice. Holding on to the window sill, they waited for the ice to melt, then they let go. They both came crashing down, bouncing off the table (breaking the bowl) and they landed head first on the floor in the puddle of water. Both of them die on impact. Silly billy's.

No they would not have had a "permanent" happy marriage because they were both living in dream worlds...

I have a feeling that they would have been happy for a while but they only knew each other for a few days and they were sooo young!! I would have been rooting for them to succeed but sadly I don't think it would have worked to well for them :'(
