Are you talking humans singular or plural?

Humans have the potential to both create and to destroy. It is sort of the good news/bad news idea. We can, when we put out minds to it, solve almost any issues that face us. However, humans also have this built in notion of selfishness (if it doesn't bother me than who cares) and procrastination, or denial that it's a problem (sure there's global warming, but so it heats up three degrees, it's just make the flowers more beautiful).

So, we have to be willing to get rid of some of our selfishness, and I think this is one of the areas where religion can really play a part, because every single one seems to dictate that we are not alone and we have to take care of others. And we also have to be willing to stop holding back, delaying things, and solve issues as they arise, not just suggest that the next generation, our children or grandchildren are going to have to figure it out.

You reach your goals by relentless pursuing of the prize, regardless of set backs, miss steps, humiliation and even poverty.

I guess that is being strong which comes from an inner power of the individual.

You are only limited by your mind and your fears.
