Personally, I think Emily's "Wuthering Heights" is one of the greatest gothic novels ever written.

I think the three sisters were very talented. They had great imaginations. Emily wrote "Wuthering Heights" after she saw a run down house on one of her walks and she imagined the kind of people who had lived there. I personally like Charlotte Bronte's novels better. I also like Anne Bronte's novels, her style is more similar to Charlotte's.

Emily Bronte novel 'Wuthering Heights' still sends chills down my spine with one of the most endearing, yet tragic love affairs of all time.

I agree with you completely. In my opinion, there has been no more brilliant, deep, complicated story than "Wuthering Heights". (EVER.) The book is a tapestry for the brain. It's such a shame that it was her only novel. I would be really curious to know what any other story she wrote would have been like. (I'm just a little OBSESSED with that book. lol.)
