in the last part of harry potter he will not die. jk must have lost her mind the whole story line has been completely destroyed.instead harry must give up his magical powers. whaddya think

i think that's a stupid ending to the series. harry has to give up his powers in order to defeat Voldemort?? that's ridiculous.

I guess I could see Harry possibly *losing* his powers in a final showdown with Voldemort. That might be plausible. I can't see him just giving his powers up, though. And I do hope Harry doesn't get killed off, but it could make for an great, albeit sad, ending.

Rowling is the author. Therefore, she CAN kill off her characters if she wants. And anyways, the 7th book is the end of the series. What better than to end the series with the main character dieing? Then no one would continue the series because she doesn't want anyone continuing it. It's her choice and anyways, she hasn't officially said that Harry is going to die so keep your hopes up. =)

i think he will die..cuz dumbledoore says that even people can be horcruxes so i think harry is voldermorts last horcrux and that harry will find out a kill him sefl in turn to kill voldemort...so they will both die....
