It is a fact that 1 + 1 = 2, but it is not a proven fact that snow is white.

Please comment.

I'm especially interested in Montreal... Are people generally "used to" a musician's need to practice? I wouldn't have access to a practice room...

We read a story in a "Sexual Archetypes in Literature" class, and I can't recall the title or the author. It was something like "The Empty Canvas" or "The Blank Canvas". It concerned a hall lined with the framed bedding from the first night spent together by wedded couples, usually spotted with blood from the virgin bride. One of the sheets, however, was blank and no explanation was given. I loved this story, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think that (since Harry is probably a Horcrux), he will discover a way to take the Horcrux part of his soul out of him. To do this, he'll have to kill Ron and Hermione (who will willingly die). Then, he will be able to make TWO Horcruxes. At this point, he will presumably have destroyed all of Voldemort's Horcruxes (including the part of Harry that was a Horcrux). He will be able to kill Voldemort, while he himself will have two Horcruxes (which Voldemort will not know about). This will make Harry invincible, and Voldemort vulnerable.
Harry will kill Voldemort, and then Rowling will tie up all the loose ends, like the Harry-Ginny relationship.

Late 1800s and early 1900s. The Department of the Interior sent him home noting that he was "sent to study the Indians, not to become one." For the life of me I can't think of his name but I can remember the photographs he took.

I'm writing a book and I'm almost done. I've also written some short stories I would like to get published. I know most of the process and I have "Writer's Market"

What I really want to know is, if you're a writer, how did YOU get noticed and published?

Imagine a world in which no humans exist. The only sentient beings that exist are animals and they are unable to discern what the cosmic point of an evil act is. Suppose that a lightning bolt strikes a tree which in turn starts a fire from which a fawn cannot escape. Not only does the fawn die in the fire; it also suffers an agonizing death. God could have prevented the agonizing death of the fawn or prevented its suffering. But he did not. What good came out of this death? Was the death of the fawn not a gratuitous or pointless instance of evil? How would you address "Rowe's fawn"? I have actually reworked the problem with my own scenario.

I go to this high school where you can choose classes between medical&dental,Law and visual arts, where each category has maybe three specialty. I chose visual arts where there's studio art, ad design, and media tech. I'm choosing between Ad Design and Media Tech.
Any ideas?
