All right, this came about from a question Top Ten Fighting ships. Naval buffs, I want to know what you think are the top 10 all time battleships, you may include battlecruisers. Will you have the battlecruiser Hood, or the gigantic Yamato in your list? What about the Seydlitz, or the gradfather of the dreadnaughts, Dreadnaught herself? The Bismarck, Bayern, Tegettoff, Richelieu, or even the Nevada in your list. Think in terms of fighting history, innovation, power and design.

I'm one of those young people who fear death for the simple fact that I am yet really to live. I recognize my mortality and will be one of those who leave a mark on the world, not just sit on my hump. I just don't know how to get to it.

I'm looking for some good answers to jog my own thought process and if you have literature or any other works related to this carpe diem philosophy then it's all good.

Well, in my story there's a girl named Holly and she meets this one dude who turns out 2 be a ferox ( a type of vampire that i made up..). His name is Cedric, and cedric really likes her and helps her out through a lot of tough situations...but Holly likes Scott, a stupid jock who was only using her. So basically Holly gets hurt emotionally because of Scott then physically and Cedric goes after Scot for revenge. It ends up with Holly in the hospital. Does that sound good? Thx!

if strangers meet
life begins-
not poor not rich
(only aware)
kind neither
nor cruel
(only complete)
(~)i not not you
not possible;
only truthful
-truthfully,once
if strangers(who
deep our most are
selves)touch:
forever

(and so to dark)

I think it's talking about your first impression of a stranger, and how you don't know whether they're rich or poor, nice or mean, etc. But don't get most of it after the (~). When he says "i not not you/ not possible," does he mean 'i can't reject you, it's impossible' or someting like that? any help is appreciated! thanks!

I dont know what tuning my guitar is in now. Just tell me where to start because I am a big noob at tuning guitar and I have big trouble tuning it by ear. I am using a KORG CHROMATIC TUNER CA-30. Also if the little line or w/e is at the middle where the light is green, does that mean it is in tune?

These DVDs would be the biographical type shown at wedding rehearsal dinners and graduation parties, which show the betrothed couple or graduate throughout the years leading up to the big event. Most names for these are cumbersome or unattractive, and my company is looking for something descriptive and succinct to call them.

I have to write a paper about specific economic systems that Thomas Hobbes would support. I know that Thomas Hobbes believes in sovereign authority and thinks humans are selfish in a state of nature, but then what economic system would he support? Would it be command, traditional, socialist, fascist, market, or mixed?

I know it might not be market or traditional...then would it be command?
