If so, whatever happened to the actress who played the character, Mireille? There have been so many rumors/speculation that she died in a motorcycle crash etc and after searching the web, there is no information on her. Does anyone know or heard of anything? What about the actor who played Robert? Where is he?

I mean, since the beginning of history, every culture has glorified warfare and made battling each other something majestic. Why do you think humans do this?

How did Socrates justify his belief (through his self-sacrifice) that it is noble act to to be loyal to the state which will promote social unity and will prevent blind subservience to the state?.

I am a 26 year old artist, who is JUST starting out. I have only been drawing for under a year....up until a couple months ago, just cartoons. Please give your thoughts on these two pieces. Be honest, but please don't be super rude. I am just trying to gain experience and knowledge from others. Thanks for your time.

I have no training, just studying books at home. I am a mom and wife and have no time for any classes. That is why your comments are so important to me. Thank you and god bless.

The Divine Comedy presents a fertile field for critical analysis. Critics from every discipline, feminist to historic, find volumes to digest. Do we as the reader impose unintended meaning? Was Dante more fanciful and fictional than we want to believe?

I recently traveled on a school trip to the Frist musuem in Nashville and I saw the intresting works of Hiraki Sawa. I found his works to be really relaxing and it kind of showed me a different light to imagination. If you have never seen his works here is a website you can go to. I just want to know your various opinions. If you don't like his works why? and vise versa

Last semester I took my first Philosophy class. We studied Plato's dialogues on Socrates for a big portion of the class. I plan on taking some more philosophy classes next semester so I am reviewing what I studied last semester to prepair. I'm new to philosophy and am still trying to figure things out.

In the Euthyphro i'm trying to figure out the elenctic method. Do you think it is a useful method or problematic?
Personally I think it's a good tool to use, but I can't figure out WHY I think this. It can cause some problems. How does socrates use the 'elenchus' to refute the definitions of piety that Euthyphro gives?

Do you have any other good points about the Euthyphro? Any other discussions?

How is the world going to end, or just mankind in general. Do you have a religious POV or scientific?
Just share your thoughts.

Personally, I think it'll be nuclear bombing. If not that, then global warming. It's bound to catch up with us eventually. But we'll all be dead by then anyway.

I've read all of Vonnegut and Palahniuk's books and I need some new reading material. I'm a big fan of "Choke" and "Breakfast of Champions (respectively). I did just start Tom Robbin's "Another Roadside Attraction" and think I'll like him. Given my particular interests, any other cool authors I'd probably like? I desparately need some new reading material.

I have passed through so much
couple lifetimes come as such
I never seem to get enough
and I know it must me tough

CHORUS (below)

I believe the sun won't rise again
the same way it did yesterday
I'm astounded by it's pain
as it turned red everyday

Reminding us of how it is
to live life such as it gives
the faux that's the way it lives
well that's just the way life is

Chorus:
I can't seem to be the same
as days go by
I can't believe it's just a game
I can't just stand-by

I pull myself into an abyss
with the strengh to walk
I realize it's just like this
Dizzy and pale as chalk

CHORUS repeat two times

p.s. I know I don't have that much talent for songs, and that the chorus is mentioned before, but I tried to make it fit.

OKay...so i am sixteen years old and i am going to start a ballet class in a coulple of weeks. I don't think i am going to be exceptionally gifted or be able to go en pointe this year or anything. I am really flexible and i can tumble and do left and right splits. Not to mention I have had some hip hop dance training. but what i am trying to say is how long will it take me to go en pointe. I am going to University next year. And they have a good dance program there. Could I be en pointe by my senior year? just tell me about how long it would take. I don't wanna be a prima ballerina or anytihng i just want to be able to dance for plays and stuff. THANKS A BUNCH GUYS!!
