It's a book series, a very very famous one, written by J.K Rowling. Harry Potter is the name of the books and the main character. It's about a wizarding world and the "muggle" world. They turned out to be SO good that J.K Rowling is the richest woman in the world, and I have to admit her book are indeed great. I started reading them even before they became famous and the movies came out.
It's the best book series of the modern 2000.
Every kid AND adult loves them.

Harry Potter is a popular seven-part book series about a boy wizard who falls into various dangerous situations during his tenure at his magic school, Hogwarts. He has two friends who help him fight evil and keep the peace. Currently, six of the seven books are available for purchase, the seventh is due in July. There are currently four movies released, on the first four books of the series. The fifth movie, about the fifth book, is to be released a week and a half or so before the seventh book will be. J.K. Rowling, the author, was a British welfare mother who became the richest author in history after making an estimated 1.3 billion dollars off the series (about 260-some odd million pounds).

Yeah , I have doubts as well, Is he a wizard or a warlock? Like who decides?
What the heck is a warlock anyways? ( Not that I know much about wizards! )
