This might sound kinda odd, but i'm writing a book and the character goes to a new high school in the middle of the year. If you go to a school where you don't know anyone, do people generally approach you? Can people just tell me their experiences.

i dont want to hear "well British came up with the laws of gravity and romans couldnt", thats not a fair statement. if they were around at that time they would probaly have done it too.

How and where did musicians in the 1920's (specifically Harlem and Chicago) live? Did they live in hotels, or did they live in apartments such as the "267 House" in Harlem? Also, what was the daily schedule of a musician?

Thank you!

The inspiration was from a dream (that was last night) that was similar with a few added details, how do you like it? Is it a good intro? If I wanted to write some stuff that actually could happen in real life, what else could I write?

This is for a history class I am taking. I also have 4 more:

2. This labor leader only wanted to organize skilled workers. They had leverage

3. He said "I thought the miners were stupid until I talked to the mine owners."

4. This country drove President Wilson crazy until WWI took his mind off of it

5. The amount of money that was loaned to the allies prior to "getting in" WWI

thanks for the help!
