I would start at www.wildwinds.com. If you were looking for dealer websites, I would start at www.vcoins.com. They have many dealers. Also www.cngcoins.com is great. It is only one dealer, but the biggest in America, and maybe the world for ancient coins.

The problem is that greek coins is an ENORMOUS field. Basically, all ancient coins from around the mediterranean that aren't Roman are classified as Greek, (this would really piss of many of these people now, but hey, they are dead). So it encompasses hundreds or thousands of cities making coins for about 700 years. To actually learn something, you have to start narrowing your scope down to say Classical Greek, or Parthian, or North African, and even then it is a huge subject that each will have many books and websites devoted to them. An example would be www.parthia.com which is devoted to Parthian coins and history. Parthian coins would only entail about 1% of "Greek" coins, but it is its own line of study.
