I have provided a link to a site that teaches you how to make paper mache.
This site also has lots of interesting projects for kids.

But is it possible that you meant origami. (Folding paper in animals, etc...) If so, I have provided two links that are pretty good.

1 part water
2 parts glue
as much newspaper as you need.

for round objects, blow up a balloon, papier mache the balloon, let dry, then pop balloon. the balloon will not explode the hardened newspaper around it.

you can use flour and water or plaster of paris (but that gets hard) get news paper and cut it into strips put it in the flour and water or plaster of paris like your coating it and then stick it to whatever you have to put it too
