I have to do a report on the plannet venus. I have to know the god(goddess) that was named after it. if you can tell me how to make paper mache and get a picture or who the goddess is... I WILL GIVE YOU 10 POINTS!!

The planet is named after Venus, the Roman goddess of love -- called Aphrodite by the Greeks.

Paper mache is Elmers glue mixed with equal amount of water. Stir well. Tear strips of newpaper and dip in glue mixture and wrap paper around the form to cover. Let dry completely and then paint.
You can also use wallpaper wheat paste that you mix with water. I have used this.

I use Starch, there is a recipe on the bottle. A lot of people use flower and water make a paste, put salt to prevent mold. Mix to sticky. Then cover shredded paper and past away.

Mix Flour and water. You can boil it if you want it really pasty and thick. Tear strips of newspaper to dip in it.
