Backstage and backstagewest.com are good, but Mandy.com is another great site to check out. It has a lot of postings that can be separated by area, and there are a lot of independant projects which are a fun and great way to work on your acting craft. Of course, as with anything, take everything with a grain of salt and be cautious with any project you take no matter where the source. Hope that helps

If your looking for professional all the named sources are good, but I would also suggest www.actorsequity.com
Here is listed all of the Equity auditions (for free, even to non-equity members) for Broadway shows, Tours, Vegas, L.A., Chicago, etc. Basically any theatre that has purchesed an Equity contract will have theire posting here.
