Sarah Crewe is the lead character in The Little Princess.
A story where Sarah's Father sends her to a very exclusive school while he is away overseas. the school is run by a mean snobbish woman who makes Sarah work off the cost of her education when Sarah's father is reported dead.

It's a nice book and you should read it I have and I've seen the movies that they have made about it.

Yes she is the main character in the book/movie "A little Princess"... it's a very good book, although it's made for children in elementary/middle school, I am in college and I still love it!

She is found in the novel "The Little Princess".......Her dad leaves for war and sends her to a boarding school and then she finds out that her dad may be dead so she goes looking for him in every hospital. Everyone believes her dad is dead except Sarah so she wants to prove everyone wrong..... :)
