The book is a modern fantasy set in central America. The main character is a heroine about nineteen [not decided on the age yet] whose mother and stepfather are killed in what appears to be a normal car crash. She begins to discover and learn about a secret world to which she belongs, and how it is connected to her parents' death. It has to do with magic, animals, shapeshifting, etc. My question is about the girls' name, I suppose. I wanted to name her Danielle Angel Carver, and have everyone in the book call her Danni. However, I wasn't sure if that was appealing or not to the general public. Thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you. =]

I have been trying to discribe friendship in terms of what it is. The problem is that I keep hitting a wall, I can discribe what friendship (i.e. best friends, great mates, etc.) looks like (what it does) for example a friend is there for you when you are down but I can not for the life of me discribe what it is. I am talking about unselfish (true) friendship here.

A though hit me a little while ago that friendship is a form of love (the hebrews called it ahgarpah [AH-gar-pay] I believe) that we feel for a person after spending a bit of time with them. But this then leaves open the door for other questions like 'If friendship is a form of love then what it romantic love nothing more than a biological drive to reproduce dressed up by our society?' Questions that are hard to answer whitout a starting point.

So my question is what is friendship, not what it looks like but what is it? AND If frienship is a form of love what does that say about other forms of love?

Am I the only one that gets pissed off when people just rip sections out of wikipedia and say they wrote it? At least say where you got it, or put the info in your own words or something.

I am little interested in reality anmore - that is other people, societal conventions though I know that I am part of society, of course.

All I want to do is reading , that is mainly autobiographies), or well written articles about some theatre performance or film or
exposition, or play the piano . I play ok - but not brilliantly
and would like to become better.

I don´t want to see anyone really.

Is that normal ? Serious comments appreciated.
