Okay, I am part of a small theatre group, based in Devon, planning a local historical play. Setting aside the obvious sources of funding like Arts Council, Lottery, etc, can anyone reccomend less known grants or things to which we might possibly be able to apply?

I am an aspiring movie maker and want to study at the New York Film Academy in New York as oppose to any of there numerous other bases.I am poor and at present cannot afford there 40 thousand dollar program. I cannot obtain a visa to work in the USA because I am Eighteen and thus unskilled labour. So I am working on scripts with the hope that I sell them to fund my education. I am working on a low budget comedy that I would be set to star in and most likely produce with the NYFA team. If one of my scripts was to be sold by joining the writers guild etc how much could I expect to earn and would it be a one off fee? I realise this is a broad question but I need rough estimates and help

I recently read The Religion by Tim Willocks and think it would make a fantastic film that would be very relevant at the moment.

What books have you read that you would like to see/ think would make a good film?

All this talk about Prince Harry going to Iraq got me wondering: Who was the last member of the British Royal family to be killed in combat? I'm sure there are some extended members who were killed in one of the World Wars, but I was wondering who, if any, of the immediate Royal family have been killed in action?

I know this is probably a pretty broad question...but I was wondering how Western Europe transformed from a sparsely populated, technologically declined, and barbaric place into the world's wealthiest, best educated, MOST technologically advanced civilization in the world? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Me and my wife are thinking of opening one while she is in school to get a degree in photography to help pay for school costs. It would just be simple portraits. We live in washington state if that matters.

About ten or twelve years ago was digging in an old dump for old bottles and found this very unusual marble. By looking at it at first glance you could tell that the marble stood out from the others. It has quite a few different colors. Colors on the outside and inside of the marble. It looks like a cyclone christensen cobra marble. The christensen marble company was only in operation for around I think seven years. They were hand gathered marbles and made on machine. The color on the inside of the marble is green which seems very unusual to me. Usually they are clear in color. There is a seam for the pontiol mark. Can anybody please tell me about this marble. I am not in dream land because I have the marble to prove it. thank you

or was this just a side show to what was really happening?

protestant movement evolved into parliamentary control. Cromwell's uncle? maybe was involved even back then with Henry VIII's deal. And the parliament that was given much more power with Cromwell, set up for the running of the state by lobbies like we have today.

Same thing with France and their execution of Charles XVI

Does it takes that long too for you to write some story?
Does it exhausts you after 5 hours?

Does it get faster, when you get more experienced? Like instead for 5 pages you get 20 pages for 5 hours?
