About ten or twelve years ago was digging in an old dump for old bottles and found this very unusual marble. By looking at it at first glance you could tell that the marble stood out from the others. It has quite a few different colors. Colors on the outside and inside of the marble. It looks like a cyclone christensen cobra marble. The christensen marble company was only in operation for around I think seven years. They were hand gathered marbles and made on machine. The color on the inside of the marble is green which seems very unusual to me. Usually they are clear in color. There is a seam for the pontiol mark. Can anybody please tell me about this marble. I am not in dream land because I have the marble to prove it. thank you

When they made marbles from the beginning it was just scrap from a glass foundry. Marbles could be made from anything from wood to metals. Any valuable marbles today have figures inside them. I saw one of the larger 1 1/2 diameter with a pocket knife inside that went for 50,000 dollars at an auction once. This is rare and valuable.
