Not even close. Some people have just mixed break dancing with some other forms of dancing. Also, they are not doing it on the corner or in the subways on the cardboard anymore, but they still do it on stage.

No break dancing is one of the most energized dance ever. Theres a movie called " you got served ", and it contains alot of break dancing. I'm not sure what u mean by dead. Especially the music that break dancers dance to makes u wanna dance. Break dancing is just like a mix of all type of dance genres.

i think you mean by like "not able to put in dance form" or "emotionless"
but its so not
break dancing is just as much of a dance as anything else
i think your thinking of people just pullin off some sick dance moves on the floor and battling
but you can also make dances out of it and other things too.
hip hop is also in break dancing and is "mushed into" dances like hip hop
have you seen the finale dance segment of step up?
well check it out you can even rent it on on demand i think
well anyway, no break dancing isn't a "dead" dance
like seperate moves that you just randomly do, it is able to be put into a dance form

you gotta be kidding me.. i'm assuming you never been to a club or battle tournment yet.. breaking is something you just can't pick up.. it take time and lots energy to spin, pop & lock.. to answer your question "is break dancing a dead dance?" No.

Not at all. In fact, at my college, there is a group of break dancers (Like 15) who get together all the time and breakdance in an open area. I have no idea about clubs, cause I don't go to them, but I would assume its still popular.
