Well, Caesar was a just and fair man who even though some of his own friends turned traitor he willingly accepted them back into his open arms with no punishments when they settled their differences. He was greatly saddened at the loss of his friend Pompeii, and it's not 100% certain that Caesarion was actually Caesar's birth son. His heir was Gaius Octavianus, who would later become Augustus Caesar, and who would be pivotal in the life of Marc Antony.

Marc Antony on the other hand was a selfish, brutish, unforgiving beast of a man. He murdered at least one senator on the very senate floor and for simple things. He was known for his many relations with women and men, including Cleopatra, as well as Octavia, the sister of Augustus Caesar. Marc Antony had allied himself with Gaius Octavianus to eliminate the rest of Caesar's killers and then turned on him. This ended in his crushing defeat multiple times in battles and later on he eventually killed himself, broken and defeated.

Whereas Julius Caesar loved the people and they him, Marc Antony really couldn't have cared less, he didn't want Augustus Caesar to become the ruler.

Julius Ceaser was more like Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island, Marc Anthony is like Ginger.

J.C won the respect of his army because he ate what they ate and slept as they slept.
