shouldn't truth contain, or be a part of, or related to, non-truth?

My real question is, "Is philosophy nothing more than a dance of, 'If...then' statements? Is philosophy meant to find the answers to questions, or create more of them? If this is true, then why even bother asking in the first place? I'm wondering about the eventuality of questions and answers; where does it lead us?

I have some college auditions coming up and am looking for an upbeat song from a musical. I need a monologue (which I already have) and 2 songs (one slow and one upbeat).

I'm looking for something fun but that also is not overdone. Some of the songs I considered using are:

Ckimbing Uphill from The Last Five Years.
I took this song to districts and got an excellent on it. I'm not using it to audition because I was strongly advised against using Jason Robert Brown songs as they are too complicated to play on the piano unless the pianist has had time to get familiar with the song.

If You Hadn't (But You Did) from Two On The Aisle.
The reason I'm not using this is for the simple reason that the music is out of print and it has been pretty much impossible for me to track down.

So! Any suggestions?

Explain briefly, why he continues to let children be murdered, raped, innocent peole to suffer for the wrong doing of others. If their is this "God" Hoe pitiful it must be to believe in something that would sit back and allow this to happen, If you use the God gave everyone free will crap! That doesn't excuse the senseless abuse!

I am wondering, who owned the actual land in the Venetian Ghetto? Was it owned by some Lord, was it owned the community at large? How was it then managed? Were there individual plots that were rented from one owner, or was it one large plot that was then managed by some central authority, or some else entirely. Thank you.

The argument broke into the street, two burley geordies, one a large balding man a look of rage in his eyes glared at the other, a shorther uglier man with a stream of blood flowing from his nose. Moments later the two men collapsed almost simultaneously into a heap on the floor, screams rang out from up the street as two women yielding shotguns bustled past stopping only briefly to check the bodies on the floor. The two men where still as a West ham defender, there was little doubt of their fate for beside each man lay what could only be described as the ingredients for a steak and kidney pie

Before you answer please consider:
1) Dumbledore is/was a VERY good judge of character and he trusts Snape.
2) In Goblet of Fire Voldemort said of 3 Deatheaters,
one too scared to return: Karkaroff
one at Hogwarts doing what moldywort wanted: B. Crouch jr
One I believe will never return: Snape
Dumbledore AND Voldemort both believe Snape is on

Dumbledore's side. ...think on it.

I have an rough-edged-outline of my story (all the characters, and all that nice information that really makes them stand out,..) My story is about these three pirates that steal a ship from this captain that marooned them on an island 2 years before, and they mysteriously excaped the island and are now looking for revenge on the captain. But im not sure what step to take next. I just cant get the "edge" to write what happens. So i guess you could call it writers block? Anything that would help?

I'm painting a picture of a dog and a cat and a bunch of oranges (I know it sounds stupid but its gonna be cool I promise) anyway id like the background to be one solid color and the oranges to be really bright and I want them to stand out.

The problem is I think black is the best way to stand the oranges out BUT the cat is black and I don't want him to disappear into the background.

So what other color would make orange really stand out?
