Fear, because in fear you may abandon all morality, love, loyalty and pleasure itself for your own personal existence. Is that a good thing? I do not think so.

Why is it? Because when you are alone with the ravenous wild creatures seeking your flesh, that's the motivational constituent of human essence you need to escape the killer beast. It is reason in absence of all other reasons.

A person's character & inner strength carries them over and through trying situations. It's life's lessons that are difficult. As an adult it's usually matters of the heart that get us so tied up emotionally. We want something or somebody very much but sometimes what we want is not good for our life. The lessons of life can teach us many things about ourselves and about others. Nothing reveals character, or lack of character, as much as a stressful situation. I have found that going through life's affairs and coming out on the other side can be an empowering experience. The old adage: "Good judgement comes from expereince, and expereince comes from bad judgement", could not be more true. Know that for every bad decision that you make in life you are learning a valuable lesson that prepares you for the trials of things to come later in your life. Young adulthood is the training ground for the mature adult. Use it to your advantage and learn the lessons the first time around.
Treat yourself with respect and others will respect you.

Because emotions is like a two-edged sword in a battle, if you are strong enough to use them well, they will always assure you a swift victory, but if you are not strong enough to fight with them, then they will cut you and could lead to your death.
I hope that answered your question.

Love requires pain and sacrifice, it hurts because you let down your guard and make yourself vulnerable.
