Lost in a haze of my own despair I reach out for a hand to save me from myself,
Save me from the harsh reality of the grim future and the desolate past,
There is no light in my life of dark dismay only blackness covering a lost desperate soul,
Falling with no end in sight it seems to be infinite to the dimness or its conclusion,
Perpetual cries for the unbalance to cease go eternally with no response,
The cold and dark embraces me so and holds me diverse to the amenity and light which has caste me out,
my journey has transpired and I let go without desperation,
for the hand I desire and reach for was never there……….

Hi! I am looking for some good books to read that are non-fiction in nature. Right now I am really interested in anything that is autobiographical in nature. I am interested in world events and just finished several books about women in Saudi Arabia (The Princess Trilogy by Jean Sasson) and another about women in Iraq. These books were more autobiographical in nature so this is in a sense what I am looking for. But, I am open to anything...if you have a suggestion, I'd love to hear it...even if it doesn't describe what I mentioned above. I am always looking for a good read. A favorite author or your favorite book is a welcome suggestion as well. Thanks for any help you can give me! Happy Holidays, everyone!

One of my notions is that those public restroom drains,
So bronze and grated they appear to be industrious chains,
Should not, so seemingly, be the source of nostalgia's noxious exhast,
But mere mechanisms spaced forseeably apart unto a conformity's loss.




I should not be overwhelmed but that somehow
into their pipe dreams I would unfurl a brow,
Ambivalent of ever finding common ground,
or home where wooden picture frame memories make a belly round.




I don't understand why I should ever stop now,
Or sigh and suddenly be like, "Oh, wow...I was a dumb cow."
Instead I will find something lost in a momentary silence,
And continue with my attempts at a valence.




And get back to work, allowing the restroom door to wheeze shut.

Everytime I take a picture...okay 99% of the time when I take a picture..it comes out BLURRY! Even if I am resting the camera on a solid surface that isn't moving, it comes out blurry. The batteries are fresh, it's on all the right settings, but it's always blurry. Tips anyone? Also, it's a newer camera..not a cheap/crappy one either..just doesn't take good pictures! Help?
