I've changed for the better. I'm far more confident, stable & successful than I was. I have the courage to take more risks. I'm more responsible. Some of it was my own volition. I decided to change & took the necessary steps. Some of it just seems to have happened. Well, in a way it's a domino effect: one change or action leads to other changes. For instance, I bought a house (the scariest f-ing thing I ever did!!!) & finding that I could do that empowered me to try other things (showing & selling my artwork, songwriting, singing & doing gigs, dating someone new). I still have a long way to go (& to grow) however. I don't quite feel "grown up" yet. Don't know if I ever will! But I have a mortgage so it forces me to be somewhat responsible if nothing else. I hope in another 10 years I'm happier & more successful than I am now...

I've changed dramatically for the worst the past 5 years, and the prior 5 years to that I had changed for the better.
The recent 5 year decline has been mainly from bad relationships, broken heart, and not dealing with these emotions in a positive way, basically poor decisions....ain't love grand!!

About ten years worth. A lot of it seems voluntary but I might just be kidding myself.

I like to think that I've evolved as a human being. I seem to have lost patience with certain situations but gained a lot of patience with others. I'm also able to laugh and just shake my head over things that used to make me crazy. I don't micro-manage my life anymore. I let the little things go. I wouldn't go back to being 25 again for a million dollars! I'm at peace with myself and my life decisions and that is a great feeling.

I have come full circle in the past ten years. I wandered off away from myself for many years, and have only recently come back in a sense to where I started from. Of course I am now older and wiser, but share more with myself of ten years ago than I do with the me of five years ago. I doubt this is typical though, but I like it. I feel whole, I needed to escape from myself for while to understand who I really am. I am happier for having done so.
