I believe you should try putting whatever you have in mind down on paper. I mean that should be creativity in itself by having what you think expressed in a kind of art derived from originality, spontaneity, whatever you call it. You could also try to mix it up a bit which ever suit you, use your imagination.

The best way to improve your creativity is to connect with your passion and motivation. You may want to find a book about your favorite artist with photos of their work or visit an art gallery or museum. And sometimes when artists experience creative blocks it is good to get away from creating altogether. This sometimes sparks a sense of renewal. Just remember that creativity is inspired and cannot be worked at or forced. You may want to read this book for artists called "Making It As An Artist". It may help you.

I am a graphic designer. When I receive an assignment and need a little creativity jolt, I browse the internet and look at other peoples work. That really gets the creative juices flowing and helps me to think of new and different designs. Hope this helps!

Get ideas from nature. Going to galleries and museums will spark your own creativity. If you are painting be playfull. Don't worry about making a mess. You can always erase it with turpentine and a paper towel. Have fun wih your art. Don't be afraid to make the colors and reflections you see more vivid.

try experimenting different types of art, just so to help you decide which ones you want to focus and concerntrate on fully afterwards. painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, you should broaden your horizons and be as varied and wide and bold with your ideas as you possibly can. and always keep on eye on different influences and things that you think would be good to base your ideas on

Do something really wild and really fast and don't let yourself think about it at the moment, leave it alone for a few days, then come back and see if you like it.
