Crying is not only a physical thing-it is a mental state. Ever heard of 'crying inside'. In my opinion physical tearing is only a side effect that may or may not occur while crying. So in theory you can cry anywhere-while asleep, in school, or even under water.

Yea well...you're not ganna feel the tears coming down, thats for sure...but yes you can, just don'tpen your eyes when you cry. If you were to go under water when crying, it's not going to stop the tears from coming out.

Yes, if you watch the right film or read the right book. Have you ever attended an underwater birth? If you want to peel an onion, it would have to be a pretty strong one, because doing it underwater makes it too easy. Don't pay attention to anyone who say thay've gone to an underwater funeral, though. They're talking rubbish.

You can cry anywhere. The tears will just not be obvious to anyone.

Well, tears could probably flow from your eyes but you certainly couldn't openly sob since you couldn't breathe! Can't say I've ever tried it...I wouldn't recommend trying it!
