Well it all starts with Cain and Able (you know from the Bible) so need I say more almost since there have been humans being humans there has been murder.

In Biblical terms the first murder was when Cain killed his brother Able.

In more philosophical terms, it was when killing something switched from being an act of survival to an act of vengeance.
