I have gotten a lot of negative GW Bush stuff but how will Jimmie Carter be remembered? Please, you have to be old enough to remember. If you are under 45, you cannot answer.

Not to discount the newer generation of immigrants, say post 1950s......but the immigrants that came here in the 1800s, early 1900s........technology sure wasn't what it is today....there was no tv, no radio until the 1920s I think.....so when they came from their country, it must have been a very brave thing to do because they only heard that America was the land of opportunity. Many of them probably knew they'd never see their families back home, ever again. What is your ancestors' story/what do you think their experience must have been like making the trip on a boat for days on end?

I asked a similar question but am looking for a legend almost beyond human living person that will be looked upon with awe 500 years from now. Must be American and could cover any field. Someone that will be known 500 years from now.

I need songs that portray the following moods. I would prefer that the songs be either classical, opera, broadway or mainstream popular (think: The Beatles). It's to be used in the classroom, so nothing inappropriate. Also, they should be songs that most people know at least passingly well.

Any other moods you could give me would also be great. I particularly need darker moods (more along the lines of anger).

scared
angry
cheerful
calm
in love
curious
busy
happy
sad
coy
bashful
eager

ok any photographers out there?
I want to know what the best digital imaging software there is or maybe one thats really good but not so expensive ha it's almost funny to say that knowing just how expensive they all are. but I had printshop pre and it was ok but I was wanting to advance. the one I wanted was like $700 but someone told me its not worth it because you have to keep updating it which can be costly. I just want to know if there worth buying.

I think human nature is very intriguing, it depends on a pessimist's view or an optimist's view

I started playing guitar this summer, and the only stroke I know is:

down, down, up up down up

I know that's the basic stroke and I shouldn't go too fast since I'm just learning, but are there any common strokes that are used in songs like, let's say,
"Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd? (i'm playing that song right now and i just can't figure out how to play the rhythm right!!!)
Thank you SOOOO MUCH!!! :)

Hi, I'm trying to write a book of poems, I have 43 so far. I'm trying to get to 55 before I publish, so I might get done before next month if I keep at my current pace. I hope age isn't a factor, because, well... ^^u I'm just a highschool student...
