I would be afraid because most people don't know that technology was "supposed" to make us be "free" in terms of the time we wanted to use for our family and friends.
Machines were "initially" designed to think on a lower level than us because WE were supposed to spend time to imagine, which leads to creation, which leads to paradise! We were not "programmed" to work 16 hours a day like our parents do (who is watching the kids at home.....The Television)
Today, we live in a World which says that humans are stupid, inadequate, or wasted consumers from people who have a "distorted" vision of life in the Universe!...So what they do is to program all of us to be like this (which is what they are complaining about)
But I have good news for everyone, which IS a Universal Law.....The more you try to control, the more you will lose control of life! (think of the relationships you all TRIED to control and you'll see what I mean)
Look up.....The future looks bright for all of us.....regardless of what you see on TV or what everyone says!

Our News here is all WAR WAR WAR and edited and censored :(
I noticed in a quick thing that there are now Andriods in Japan,.. this was like a Year... maybe a year and a half ago. They are calling them Robots or whatever,... but they are more to fit the title Andriods. They look like Human (Japanese) 20-somethings,... maybe 30-something. They can be taught things over time. They do the house work like Dishes, Landuary, Vaccuming,... They can look at a member of the house hold and have the medical information of a Doctor so they can disgnoise you and take care of you through your illness (they get some information like your body temp,.. I forget what other information just from looking at you). They can call you at work to tell you if there are problems or groceries are needed or if you told them to call you if someone called,.. If there is a Fire or [attempted] Burglery they can contact the appropriate authoriaties.... The phone is built into them like a Cell Phone so they make these calls while just walking around without picking up your phone.
So.... anways,.. I don't care. It would likely not effect me. >.< Especially if we are still being run by things not as smart as Furbies.

I am not scared only sad,as I am not an immortal,I will die some time but am sad as what's going on nowadays cant be good for the long run and I cant imagine how my grandchildren would do to be living in a world worst than it is right now because of ignorants, daydreamers and absolute idiots who control most destiny of nations. In a way machines will do a better job than humans that is to survive and improve.

Now, that would be a rather odd machine. Sometimes mankind isn't too bright. My understanding of the difficulty of duplicating the human mind would make the machine look like a crazy quilt about 2 city blocks long.
It isn't a thing I worry about. No one gets out of this alive.

Michael,,,,sigh,, there is nothing at all wrong with imagining, but take a deep breath, Imagine this.
Don't EVER stress before the fact, about Anything, and don't stress about those things, NOT in your control,,,EVER!
As my sweet Angel says, The Universe will take care of the details.
Life... It's Long,,, pace yourself

there is already a computer that regularly beats the world champion grand master of chess,
(i'm not up on the latest but a few years ago kasparov beat the IBM big blue computer in chess, he said he doesnt think he can do it again)
next step is to branch out in different areas besides chess.
but until they find a way to time travel to the past...
i will continue going into the future

Being scared has been the natural instinct from time immemorial... the whole effort is to deepen the perception and get rid of this last of negative emotion (since it lingers till all other negative aspects dissolve)..

EVEN WITHOUT CREATING ANY NEW MACHINE THE FUTURE IS TERRIFYING. ALL KINDS OF SHORTAGES WILL PLAGUE THE WORLD LEADING TO CONTINUOUS CLASHES.

you could die hit by a car or something, so nothing to be afraid of if you will be killed by some evil machine.
