An ancestor- profession, painter- moved from Strood Kent to Portsmouth Hampshire before his marriage in 1812. He spent the rest of his life in Hamphire. I would like to know what was happening at that time in Kent, particularly the Strood, Rochester area that would make someone descide to move away from a place that their family had lived for generations. Plus what sort of things were happening in Portsmouth that would make someone consider moving there.
A lot of this information can be hard to find when trying to get answers from Australia with no idea of the local area.

my friend is cutting herself,she is bulimic,has depression,anxiety attacks,suspended from skool.i love a guy whos wit another girl only for the sexual initmacy between them and he thinks she'll b suicidal if he dumps her.
mym om and i got in a car accident,our insurance suks,money is low now..i got a job,doesn't help too much.my sister is living in a fantasy land,she doesn't care.my dad left us,he didn't want to support us emotionally or physically,couldn't b bothered..
i know it sounds liek i'm on a pity spree,but iwant things to get better,plx suggest if u can,thankyou and hope yr days go better than ,mine hav been.God bless

I would love to go to Drama School but really can't afford it. I am looking into doing summer courses or short weekend courses in things like musical theatre and stage combat, just so that I have some sort of training. Will this in any way compensate for not having got a degree?
