I think it sounds great. You just aren't used to hearing it together. However, I do have to warn you of something. You will be in the same boat that I am in. My married last name is also a name that is used as a first name so be warned that people get sloppy and will call you Carroll instead of Kayla. It used to drive me bananas, now I'm used to it ;-)

You have a choice and so does he . He can take your last name or both can keep the unmarried name .Many people before they married have written Mrs .%*&%&* , Just because she was getting married and now it's MRS . ,Some people marry and wear no rings ever .My son and his wife never had rings and don't want a wedding band .She ater marriage said she perfered his last name , but that was up for question for months .She at first didn't even answer to his last name , she would laugh and say I need to get use to a new name now. So , name changing caqn be weird and may need to get use. But being a wife instead of a girlfreind is different as well .There are names that may just be odd to match a first name to as Dickerson , Mrs Caddy Dickerson ? LOL

HI!...i think...that name is unique..you don't have to change it...believe me..it's unique.. don't think of what others would think about it... just be proud of it...and i know, your boyfriend would be please if you don't change it... other people don't have the right to judge your name..
