Assuming you mean ancient Egyptian civilization the answer is of course, no. On a basic level you could compare and contrast Egyptian art with that of other ancient civilazations. One can even see a similarity between the lifeless, monumental nature of their sculpture and architecture with the art of the Nazi's in thirty's Germany. Of course, religious excess can be a fertile point for comparison. Pictographic writing has been used in a variety of cultures. Most powerfull nations in the world in their time. And so on. And so on.

i disagree. they are equally comparable to other ancient cultures and civilizations. the sumerians built pyramids before them in the form of ziggurats. the olmecs, mayans, and aztecs built pyramid structures in mesoamerica. the sumerians had writing before the egyptians. the aforementioned civilizations of mexico also had hieroglyphic writing. i could name more.
