Probably a man called Frith - you can search on Frith photographs and you will find his site. His paintings are for sale through the www and there is an entire catalogue of all his photographs. You will find your Blackpool paintings there.

Quite honestly how can a question like this be answered? Which Blackpool photographs? I guess literally millions of photographs have been taken at Blackpool in the decades you mention. Do you mean the famous Bert Hardy/Picture Post photograph of 2 lasses siting on some railings? If so, that would be late 40s/early50s

Now, allgiggle, we know that neither you nor rdenig_ma nor I, took the photographs. It is a difficult question to answer in a day or two but I will start researching the issue right now.

I shall not rest until the problem be solved!
