I want to act in movies and on tv (maybe), but Ive been told that acting in plays and all that would be better to get started. Only thing is I dont want to act in plays and not get the chance to start my dream until like my 20s. Is it possible for me to start acting on tv and in movies now at my age? Are directors open enough for new talent. Ive been told by everyone around me that I was "born to act." Is this possible?

I am a natural singer, but I have now found that I sing from my throat, due to having been pushed beyond my capabilities as a singer in middle school. I also have extremely tense neck muscles and thick mucus. The throat-singing is causing my throat to hurt after singing in class and show choir rehearsals, so I am wondering as to how I would best remedy this, as my choral directors have never noticed it.

I'm looking for the name of a book published in the early 1980s that was about making love and pregnancy. It was a hardcover book; and the color was rose or light purple. Inside were beautiful illustrations of a pregnant woman and a man and woman making love. These weren't humorous but rather looked like oil paintings.
