Friend - This question is usually asked in regard to religion...as in why does GOD allow bad things to happen to good people. The answer in this case is that God does not promise that bad things will not happen to us, only that if we turn to Him, He will help us through them.
Other than that, in truth, bad things happen to everyone. In each individual's life rain DOES fall. The degree of bad and good is relative to the person and to who is judging it bad or good.

When a human being's life is not being lived, according to that individuals plan and how they want their lives to be lived. Then certain people experience the feeling of being robbed of thier happiness, not able to understand what is the point of working, being alive on earth always worried about money, then their are people who live a more comfortable exsistance and thus there is created the thought, that we as an individual are not worthy of living the same way as other's do. The divisions placed in society is the ultimate bad thing, that has happened to humanity.

Just look at it this way it's only bad if you make it out that way. Look at as a challenge from the devil, are you going to let him win, sit there and sorrow about how life no fair or get up and fight and over come it. Remember god doesn't give us anything we can't handle on our own. Ever situation you overcome makes you a stonger person mentally. Plus what would life be if everything came to you and was done for you. Think about it.

I have answered this question so many times lol
Ok...bad things happen to all people, we just don't feel bad when bad things happen to bad people. For instance, if a man or woman were to be raped and killed in a deserted alleyway, it would be absolutely terrible!!! But if a rapist was shot, carried back to someones house where they were cut open and experimented on, then sewn back up and thrown out on the side of the road it woudn't be as terrible because prior to that, they were violating people left and right...So, in short bad things happen to all people, we're just more sympathetic about it in regards to "good" people because they "don't deserve it"(although I don't know where that concept comes from)

Why wouldn't they? People create their own reality and good and bad are relative. What you would consider bad/good might not be interpreted as such by the person experienceing the event.
A lot of people think death is bad...but it's not, it is simply an exit from this world. A car accident might seem bad on the surface but the people choosing to experience it are learning what they need to learn from that experience. Why would that be "bad"?
There are no "bad" or "good" people. Only people. There are no "good" or "bad" events, only events.
We are, right here and right now.

That's a good good question...But only God has the answer..I've been trying to figure out why I have gone through so much, and I consider myself to be a good woman with good intentions...I've always been told that when God has his hand on you, then the harder you'll be fought against...
It's a mystery, only God really holds the answer to.

A broad question for a brief & concrete response!!
So, "all" bad things dont happen to "all" good people. And, there are no exclusive "good" people. We all are influenced by good and bad. Because we have a free-will in (space & time), these two relativity factors are uncontrolled, and in my belief governed by a God who uses them to guide our free-will into helping ourselves or others. In some cases it results in sickness or death, but all for a greater purpose.

As a Pagan I do not believe in a divine plan or that all things happen for a reason, if we are to have free will, and I believe we do, then our actions must be outside the control of the Gods, and since our actions have consequences and ramifications there will always be an element of dumb luck involved. Since luck is a matter of random chance, sometimes good people get unlucky, it's as simple as that.

bad things happen to all people regardless if you are good or bad. You know what I don't think you are that good if you believe just becuase you are nice you deserve to have no bad thing to you. If you believe yourself good does not make you good, and if you expect something in return for being good like no bad deed happening to you than you are not truly good. In fact I don't think there is a person who is completely good. Everybody has flaws and no one other than god or jesus is or was truly good.

Why do good things happen to bad people?
Why do bad things happen to bad people?
Why do good things happen to good people?
"Good" and "bad" are subjective. Rather than looking things
as good or bad, try looking at them as just things.
Natural occurances and incidents.
No reason, just is.
