I'm looking for the name of a book published in the early 1980s that was about making love and pregnancy. It was a hardcover book; and the color was rose or light purple. Inside were beautiful illustrations of a pregnant woman and a man and woman making love. These weren't humorous but rather looked like oil paintings. I would love to figure out the name of this book!!!!

was it perhaps 'Dr. Ruth talks to kids'? I'm not familiar with the book you are describing. check your local health food store to see if they have any recommendations, and check amazon.com too they have one called: Show Me! A Picture Book of Sex for Children and Parents (Paperback)

wow, that's nasty. "Hey kids! It wasn't REALLY a stork- check THIS out!" That is disgusting. wait until they are older, and don't show them graphic pictures...
