I saw a tv show on significant books. It mentioned books like the naked ape. It also mentioned a book which made many people reassess their religeous beliefs. Written in I think the 70's or possibly the 60's almost certainly in the UK. I assume mainly about god and such. But I can't remeber the title? Can anyone help. I think it just have been fairly well known at the time.

We are doing a play set in the late 50's early 60's and i need to know what type of clothes were worn then by refugees especially. Also there is an English woman in the play and she would have clothes from the late 1950 and is a teacher at the refugee camp. Thank you very much.

I am wanting to trace pictures from photographs that I have onto art paper. I was going to buy an opaque projector but then came across ads for light boxes on the net. Does anyone know how these work? Would I be able to use this to trace/outline a photograph or will it only work with a something I can shine the light through, like transparencies instead of the photo? Any information from someone who has used these would be helpful.

It's kind of a "what if" book. It tells the story about the Civil War in reverse. In another words it describes the Civil War as the South winning the War and what may have happened if the reality of the War was reversed.

Lighhouse In Me

So each have a journey
We often wander
Sailing in serenity
Fighting against we yonder

Life's full of bliss
Sometimes misery
Leaping beyond
Sailing + Lighthouse

Who needs a lighthouse
Canoe arise to shrink
A light forgotten
But standing

Cast all the darkness
Shed a light from me
Rays will led
Sleep in my arms finally

I've been in kind of a slump for the past few weeks, I just don't seem to find a reason to do most things anymore. I've tried turning to my family for advice, but all they say is that I should turn to professional help. Been there before and all they did was remove all my self-confidence. All I see is that the world is a closed cycle that keeps on going without consecuences. So what makes the rest of the world tic? What reason do you have to keep on going?

The first books I ever read in Kindergarten were ones that included a mouse/rat named Sam, a snake, and something to do with a "mat". I've searched the Internet over for these books, but have not been able to come up with the author or anything.
