I was wondering what the opinion was of Christians and indeed anybody else who believes in the human soul thinks of the implications of human cloning? Not just whether a clone would have a soul, but whether you believe a human clone should have the same basic rights as born human?

From the answers I've been reading and from responses I get, I see that people enjoy beeing cruel to each other and answering each other's questions in an insulting and harsh manner. Why are people doing this? would they enjoy themselves to receive answers with wickedness? whould they respond with the same harsh language to people in person?

I don't know if the poem is entitled Quetzalcoatl or whether he is merely the subject of the poem. The poem describes a pedestal with an inscription upon it. The pedestal used to have a statue upon it, but no more. And the everlasting nature of his society and culture, now consumed by the desert. Poet? Anyone?

Oh my god, as an avid thespian and lover of musicals I always like to go and experience new things. Yesterday I saw Wicked at the Apollo in London, I got goosebumps that many times and by the end of the first half I was already crying, not at the plot, I was in total ore and wonder of this theatrical master piece. AND could only compare Idina Mendels voice to Barbra Streisand's not in similarity but in quality and magnificence. I am still on a high. Would love to see what other people thought, escpecially those who are not regular musical goers like me !

A town close to where I live wants to pull a book off the shelves at it's school libraries. It's called "And Tango makes three" It's a true story about two male penguins at a zoo that adopt an egg, and raise the baby penguin. They say the book is based on homosexuals.

I study English Language at 6th form and for my first piece of coursework I need to write the opening chapter to a story. I'm thinking along the lines of horror. But I need some style models (authors and books of which I'll need to base my style of writing on). Does anyone have any ideas of stories which are good at gripping the reader right from the very first chapter? I'm thinking along the lines of Steven King or similar authors. Does anyone have any suggestions about good books I could use, please? Thank you!

and even if you beleive uncontested, without a doubt, EVERY word of the bible conciously---

the ancient sea scrolls....many of them, are missing.....the bible is a compilation of "apocrypha" of different writtings....most of it written way afte jesus's death...Not even by those who witnessed jesus himself!!!!

so how can you be certain in the message of the bible, when its inherently incomplete??

One of the apostles may have had a message (given to him by Jesus), which was similar to "doubt and the humility of not knowing God"

and that the words of God is inside us, not in a book, that the bible was only a "guide", a human written book.....but since such message was not compiled into the bible because the chuch wanted to gain pure "authoritarian" control at the time...it was scripted out, and you do not see it today...what then? what if there was a message?
