Anything happens because of something, nothing just happens.
I think to make a risk, you should make your calculations first and count the advantages and disadvantages, and to be sure to accept and adapt with the outcome, whatever it was, in this case you are clever and brave if you succeeded or failed. But if you didn't count anything and just went through a risk, then you will probably be stupid even if you succeeded. It will be as if somebody did something unique by mistake, that doesn't make him a bright.
I hope that makes since.

I believe all things are meant to do or be something. Humans are supposed to be here to nurture and take care of animals and/or plants. An animal like the lion for instance is supposed to be the king of the jungle and watch over and protect the other animals. God makes things happen for humans and animals for a purpose. I got a question earlier this week about if I believe things happen for a reason and I replied: I do believe everything happens for a reason. I mean, God wouldn't let the things that have happened throughout history without not using us, his children for nothing. I believe that God is preparing us for what is to occur in the End Time. Why else would people die, fight, argue, and do all the things people do.
I hope this answers your question; Good Luck.

Some things just happen. If you decide on something, why not have full confidence in your decision? Go right through the end, and believe in what you do. Go ahead and fail. Fail as much as you can, and learn from it.
What if you did this instead of that? Would it have been better? It is hard to say. It doesn't matter whether you did the right thing or the wrong thing. It is more important to put your all into "right now".

Both. I believe that certain things are "meant to be." I bought a house in a new community & it was the scariest thing I'd ever done but it was meant to be. It set off a chain-reaction: showing my artwork, writing songs & singing at a local bar, being on the front of the paper, meeting the man of my dreams (a fellow songwriter)...I made it happen. I chose to go after my dreams & once I took that step, the universe started falling into place because it was meant to be. I could have stayed in a rut living in my old house in the community I knew & never taking a risk & just stagnating & never going after my dreams because it was too scary. But I chose to take a chance.
Leap & the net will appear. Live your destiny. Make the first step toward your goal & things start to fall into place. Life will help you along but you have to decide to make it happen.

Things happen because someone or something makes them happen. Free will exists. Think about it - could someone or something program everything from world wars down to the individual path of a butterfly for the entire history of the world? If you think that's possible, try to just list in detail the actions it would take to type a short reply to my message.
1) lift arms
2) extend arms
3) lower arms onto keyboard
4) feel for nubs on the F & J keys
5) Nubs found? If not, go back to step 1
6) realize the complications of this task, and rethink your answer

There is no such things as meant to be. We only see a lot of things as meant to be because we see them through earthly eyes. All things that happened, is happening, and will happen are due to yin (chinese: which means seed or cause) and gwo (chinese: which means fruit). All that we experience now is because of what we've done before, yin. And what we are doing now will all be repaid in the future, gwo. Yin and Gwo are the ones that monitor all the happenings and both of them are dependent on our CHOICE. Hence there is no such thing as meant to be. All is due to YIN and GWO.

yes.... and that is karma.....
but is meant to be, because we caused it to be...
any positive thought, behavior, and action of ourselves...will fruit to a positive result that we will enjoy....
likewise...any negative thought, behavior and action will lead to a suffering that we will have to endure....
with our actions we construct our future fate, which will be "meant to be"....
remember, we are the authors of our own lifestory.....
