Religion is rigid and narrow. Humanism is flexible and broad. Hence religion can become irrelevant over a period of time as changes take place in the world, but humanism remains relevant all the time because it adapts to changes without diluting the prime purpose of good of the humanity in general!!

Your question needs to be rephrased. There are religious humanists and secular humanists (or they call them secular humanists). However, I will answer what is above. Religion places the solution for problems encountered in life on a god or gods; humanism says that man is fully capable of solving those problems himself.

Devout humanists think religion is bad.
