I saw a tv show on significant books. It mentioned books like the naked ape. It also mentioned a book which made many people reassess their religeous beliefs. Written in I think the 70's or possibly the 60's almost certainly in the UK. I assume mainly about god and such. But I can't remeber the title? Can anyone help. I think it just have been fairly well known at the time.

My guess would be Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

Popular yet spiritual, a very thin novel and an easy read. I enjoyed it.

Was it "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran? That was going around at that time.
