ok...a friend argued with me that the trick is real and that he dematerializes...i was so amazed that those words came out of her mouth..all i want to do is disappoint the hell outta her and expose the trick..i mean, i love magic..but i'm smart enough to know it's all illusions..

I am going to attempt a stained glass style painting on a window at church. It will be lit up from behind with soft lighting. I need to know what type of paint and medium will work best for this project. Someone told me trasnlucent acrylics, but I would hate to use these only to find out they dont work on glass or peel off.

What is his masterpiece?

I was really into F. de Saussure; but now I'm getting into Bakhtin, you know. His propositions on language, philosophy, society, culture... are pretty factual.

He's a marxist thinker, which is good.

What do you tell us about him? Pls, now copy sth from Wikpedia or ... say what you know, if you know; and if you really know what you know.

Tnx

Hi, I'm looking to invest in a cheap SLR camera, just to get started in gig photography.

Ideally, I'm looking for advice on what kind of things I need to photograph bands performing under stage lighting. I'd appreciate any help!

I'd like to get a digital SLR which I know will bump the cost up considerably, but I don't know what lenses etc I need for gig photography...

When I was little, I used a read this book (or maybe a series of books) that was about a family from Salt Lake City and had three sons. All I remember is that they were the first family to have an indoor toilet and one of the sons charged his friends admission to see it. Also, when one of the brothers came down with something, the mother put them all in the same bed so that they would all get it and be sick at once instead of one at a time. The youngest boy had a friend with the mumps and had him breathe in his face so that he could catch something first. That way his brothers would still be sick after he was feeling better.
