if you're madly in love with someone, and loving him/her causes so much pain that you cant take...
you have only one choice that makes you stop loving him/her, and this choice is hatred..let's say that hatred is in a box that's next to you, and if you open that box you will hate the person..would you stop loving him/her by hatred?

nah...... hating someone doesn't make you stop loving them, trust me. Something a lot of people don't get is that we (humans) are able to feel more than one emotion at a time. Hating someone will just complicate everything and like someone else already said, the last thing we need in this world is more useless hatred. There is a saying that hatred is like an acid - it destroys the container in which it is held...that would be your own heart, darlin....and in the end you never do stop feeling the love.

Yes. I was in love with a man who made me miserable every day, and I knew I didn't want to be there, but I was. I felt like he needed me, someone, to understand and be there. I couldn't break the ties even though I wanted out so much. If something happened that would make me hate him, I would have been free, and I wanted that to happen so I could leave quilt free and know I wouldn't go back. I'm away now but, he's still there bothering me every chance he gets. I wish I had to capability to truly, truly hate,so then I could be done with this sad, irrational person. Wish I didn't feel like hatred is the only way out.

This is a perfect example as a stalker mentality. (not saying that the questioner is a stalker...just that it's an example.)

Stalkers find a person that they feel they are close to in every regard. They build that person up so much that when they observe their victim, the victim falls short of the stalker's view. The stalker then goes from loving and taking pride in their victim that they hate and are disappointed in their victim. The next step is to cause harm to the victim because he/she has disappointed the stalker and ruined his/her perfect image of the victim.

They are either stopped or move on to the next victim.

Depends does your new hatred of them cause them pain if so then no but if not then go ahead as long as no harm comes to them. Your happiness is most improtant to you unless it causes harm then you should take appropriate steps to reduce the pain as much as possible wiht out causeing harm.

What? No! Of course not! The last thing we need in this world is more hate. Besides, what's the point in hating them? You'll probably end up falling in love with another person you can't get.

How could a person who is in love turn that love to hate?
If you truly loved this person, it would be impossible for you to just start hating them.

I would take that box, place it in a larger box, and dig the deepest hole I could find and bury it. When you find love like that you never let it go.

No, I would be happy to be a romantic heroine who died from a broken heart.
Sounds classy.
