non christians tend to think that GOD in general is bad. But really if they would get to know him && knew everything about him. theyd realize EVERYTHING they do for him && then maybe they'd think differentley about him.
Well Harry Potter was actually a really awesome movie. I'm a strong Christian && i daily try to convince non believers that GOD is the one && only savior. BUT i really wanted to watch that movie. && everyone said it was bad. but when i sat down and watched it i realized that it wasn't bad after all. people just jump the gun && start thinking stuff. i think to judge something you have to expierence it your self..
i'm glad to know you feel the same wayy!!

I think anyone that bashes an idea or person without really knowing where they're coming from is hardly credible.
I think SOME non-Christians don't think the Bible is worth their time or effort.
On the other side I think SOME Christians believe exactly what others tell them - especially when it comes from someone they trust like their Pastor or Priest. If the Pastor says, "Harry Potter is not a good book for your children (or even you) to read." They take it at face value. Please note that I'm NOT referring to ALL Christians, just SOME.

I've read Harry Potter, and I still bash it. The reason, because it does encourage it. It makes witchcraft and sorcery seem fun, seem exciting. Well, it's not. It's scary. It's evil. Have you met some of these people who claim to be witches and sorcerers. They are scary. It is the work of satan, plain and simple. I don't mind watching a show or reading a book that puts witchcraft in it's correct form, evil. Good witch, bad witch, baloney.

You're right.
For the record, I don't like the Bible. Haven't read it because it's hard to understand. How can I not like what I don't know anything about? I know plenty about the religion the Bible speaks of, and I feel that that religion was created by the government. I believe in God, but I don't believe in religion.
As for Harry Potter, it's just some woman who wrote a book about some kids with powers- something that everyone daydreamed about when they were little.

non-christians can choose not to read the bible, just like any other piece of FICTION. books are written by man. man made up the bible to create a diety to simplify their control and to influence others. why would i WANT to read the whole thing?
