I walked past a tree house carrying,
The pain that life has brought me.
And then I hear those glorious sounds,
The sounds of sweeter times.

Those sweet sounds bring back memories,
Where nothing held me back.
Each step I took brang excitement,
Not fear of losing to the world.

For a short time we owe nothing to the world,
For nothing is what we have.
We did not serve the world its needs,
Instead the world served us.

We knew no sort of danger,
So we could climb forever,
We had not yet been taught in life,
The world could knock us down.

I've been reading Nora since I was twelve and have never read another romance novelist. I'm so used to her style of writing, I'm a bit scared to try a different romance author :/

This is a broad question, so I will also accept an answer in terms of the below example.

Suppose that, out of paranoia, I buy or otherwise legitimately obtain a truly huge quantity of potable water and hoard it in an abandoned missile silo which I have also bought. Everyone rightly regards me as a lunatic, and I become famous as the water man. But one day, while I am tooling around in my silo, a nuclear apocalypse happens, ruining all the potable water on the continent except for mine. Suddenly thousands of people show up begging for water, demanding it, trying to compromise my silo, etc.

(1) Do I own the water and the silo?
(2) Do I have the right to ask any price I like for the water? (Or not - e.g., only a low price, or free?)
(3) If I am not allowed to ask any price I like for the water, is that because I don't own it or because I don't have the right to ask any price I like for what I own?

Don't think about the question too hard. Just write the name of the first Japanese person who you think of. Even if you don't know if the person is Japanese or not, just write down the name.

I just want names, so you don't have to explain why, or who they are.

I have horrible writers block. I have this story about a nineteen year old kid named Cirdon with an awesome opening in which he finds his older brother after nearly ten years of seperation. They are both orphans and were split up in foster care. The setting is a ficticious urban city kind of like New York. I know I want it too have a governemental twist, becasue Cirdon's older brtoher works for a private organiztaion called R.I.N. (Retreival & Information Network) that is looked down upon by the communist/dictatorship-ISH government. I just don't know where I can go with it. Any ideas?

I like a gripping novel, full of twists and turns, plots and sub-plots. Nothing to heavy, like 'War & Peace', maybe something 'quirky' a little of the wall, and comical.
