I walked past a tree house carrying,
The pain that life has brought me.
And then I hear those glorious sounds,
The sounds of sweeter times.
Those sweet sounds bring back memories,
Where nothing held me back.
Each step I took brang excitement,
Not fear of losing to the world.
For a short time we owe nothing to the world,
For nothing is what we have.
We did not serve the world its needs,
Instead the world served us.
we knew no sort of danger,
So we could climb forever,
We had not yet been taught in life,
The world could knock us down.
