Harry & Alice went to the palace
to make a request of the king
Harry & Alice went to the palace
to ask to borrow his ring

Highness, said Alice
Don't mean to sound callous
But could we please borrow your ring?
Highness we implore you,
You know we adore you
added Harry as he stared at the king

You peasants you know
I can't let you go
once you make such an impertinent request
I banish ye both
to land of the ghosts
away on an island so far

And so they were sent
and many years spent
on an island just of the coast

I purchased a painting at a yard sale of an American Indian woman who is seated. It is done in mainly greys, browns and black and is heavily textured and somewhat abstract. The signature is in the lower left corner and incorporates a bow and arrow making it somewhat difficult to make out. is anyone familiar with this.?

I read this book fourteen years ago. It's about a vietnam??? soldier whose arms and legs were blown off. He lost his hearing, sight, and was mute from the explosion. He attempted to use morse code by beating his head against his pillow trying to tell the nurse to please kill him. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the book or who wrote it. If any of you can help me with this I would certainly appreciate it!

There two kinds of religion; one with truth and false religion. Which may offer you a supernatural change in your life? Did your doctrines prove your going to heaven or deserving to be just before a God? Or did your religions just judge by pride saying our religion is right and all are wrong? there are prophesies fulfilled in the Bible that are all step by step doctrine to doctrine all are being accomplished as how the word of God was to be written by men; profitable for reproof, for correction, for instruction of righteoussness, that a man of god or even people may be perfect(2 Timothy 3:16,17) Religions claim righteoussnes, but there seems to be that the Bible carries proofs proven and truth and assurance of where your soul can go, and it talks and defines walking in light of love not martyr death while you've sinned believing is the way to heaven. Why? If you died for your beliefs and you've sinned, would God let a liar or murderer or rapists in heaven which maybe you? Think twice.

Atlantis is the subject of a legend about an advanced island civilization that was destroyed or lost. Stories about Atlantis are first mentioned in Plato's dialogues Timaeus and Critias, in which characters say it was destroyed by an earthquake or a tsunami about 9,000 years before the time in which Plato wrote.

J. M. Allen argues that the site of Atlantis was on the Bolivian Altiplano (a series of high plains). Allen's major points rest on rather shaky foundations: the similarity of the Bolivian terrain to the geographical details in Plato's dialogues; that floods and earthquakes have occurred in the Bolivian Altiplano; and the fact that precious metals referred to by Plato as mined in Atlantis are also found in Bolivia. Was Bolivian Altiplano the real location of Atlantis? Did this place really exist?

Anyone have any helpful tips on outlining a novel or writing a novel in general? I don't want to say what the novel is about because I don't want anyone to steal my idea. I am really motivated to start writing this and I am fully committed to doing all the reseach, outlinging..writing..drafting...revision...editing..etc...So, please don't tell me that I'm too immature to write a novel if I have to ask for help. (this is the response i got from many when i asked similar questions before)

thanks so much in advance for any tips!!

writing exercises are also appreciated as well!! especially ones that can help with the development of characters..

well, thanks again!

I am looking for a good genealogy software package that will run on Microsoft Windows XP. I've used Family Tree Maker in the past; however, you never know if you have the latest version. It seems that they come out with a new version practically once per month.

Please keep price, quality, and ease of use in mind when giving a recommendation.

Also, I would like to store a photograph or two (at least) of the person, scans of paperwork regarding the person, and maybe even a voice recording if possible.
