Well, I am not really a Christian, so perhaps I should not answer, but...
There are at least two ways you can answer this. The first is for a non-believer. John got his head cut off for political reasons and God's will didn't have anything to do with it. John had a large following and Herrod may have executed him to eliminate a possible revolt leader. Or possibly John exposed Herrod for marrying his brother's wife illegally, and either Herrod or his wife conspired to execute him.
The second way to look at it is from a believer's perspective. Looked at that way, you might say that John had already fulfilled God's purpose for him in that he had prepared the people for the coming of Jesus and that he had already baptized Jesus. John may have even needed to die to clear the way for Jesus (although that may be going a little far). I think most Christians would not hold that you are protected by God just because you are doing God's will. Presumably, all the martyred Christians were doing God's will, and they were still cast to the lions for Roman entertainment. Christians don't worry about God protecting them during life as they believe they will have eternal life after death.

A king, from somewhere over there, told his new wife he would give her anything she wanted for a wedding present. So, she requested 'the head of John on a platter' and he had to keep his word.
Can't remember the names, but I think there was a 'plot' involved to try and shut down the newly developing Christian religion.
During this time of early Christianity, Elizabeth and Mary, Jesus' Mother, had both been visited in a dream telling them they would have sons. Elizabeth was a barren older lady and she almost didn't believe the dream until the baby boy was born.
She was to name her son John and he would be the predecessor for a great new Messiah. Mary''s dream was very similar with the exception of the name, Jesus, who would be a great spiritual leader. Elizabeth was Mary's aunt. They spoke to each other every chance they had about their dreams.
Being first cousins and born around the same time gave Jesus and John the opportunity to play together as children.
That's how John recognized Jesus when he came to John to be baptized.

John the Baptists God his head cut off for the sake of reproof and righteousness reproving the wrong ways of king's wife about her carnal actions...that she demanded the king to have John the baptists head on a plate before seen; all for the work and righteousness for God, dying or hated for the sake of righteousness.

That is precisely why he got his head cut off, he was doing the will of God and people didn't like that. You need to now understand what was going on then, this threatened people in high places. Just as Jesus did, you know what happened to him and to his diciples.

The reason is in the plan of God, everybody has free will. As the blood of the innocent will cry up for justice and it will be used against the evil doers on judgement day.

sensible Christians could admit they do no longer comprehend each and all the solutions, and maximum, on condition that they do no longer study the unique text textile in the unique language and context, may be situation to misinterpretation. What i comprehend, as a sensible Christian, is that Christ got here to coach us the thank you to stay. The Bible is a e book approximately community and there are quite reliable evidences that communities that deserted God have been subjected to destruction (jointly with Isreal while they rejected God). there is likewise data of God's promise to maintain that u . s . and is sparkling in the undeniable fact that the Jewish u . s . survives immediately regardless of severe persecutions. Many words are used in the unique Bible language for Hades, Sheol, and Gahena(sp?). they have diverse meanings in the context of that day. The be conscious maximum ordinarily translated to hell became Gahena, which became the valley outdoors Jerusalem the place the refuse became burned. the fire burned consistently and the refuse became fed on by the flames. in the NT it says dying and Hades would be solid into this ingesting fire and could no longer exist. i think of the assumption-approximately eternal torture became invented by the church later. in all risk by the comparable church that concept they needed to flow to conflict to rigidity people to alter into Christians (ie. Crusades, Inquisition, etc). to date as i'm worried, that became the worst element that ever befell for Christianity or any faith and is SOOO far flung from what Christ taught that those people could, by no potential, be referred to as Christian. The Bible says that Christ died for the sins of all and that his blood covers the sins of the international, yet i think you nevertheless could settle for that present to get it. have faith me nevertheless, God won't rigidity anybody who willfully rejects Him to spend eternity with Him. do no longer comprehend in case you get a guess to alter your recommendations (repent) while the judgement comes and you're status formerly Him. do no longer think of God's going to spend all eternity punishing people who rejected Him the two, yet perchance he will. i'm no longer God so i don't get to return to a decision. Is that sensible adequate for you?

He was martyred because he dared to preach repentance to a wicked ruler's family. He was faithful to his calling to proclaim God's Word. His actions and death fulfilled a purpose. What purpose, perhaps to inspire others to live for God? Or perhaps give us courage in the face of persecution?

He was what you would call a Martyr. The bad things that happens to us here in this life is of little concern. its if we rise up to meet Jesus when he comes that's important. Hey did you know that they killed Jesus too? And he was perfect. Go figure. We all have a path to walk... Walk good my friend.

John the Baptist was killed for speaking out against sin, he was a martyr. He pointed out the sin of Herod and Herodias ... Herod had married his brother's wife. John spoke up against this sin and Herodias because she was embarrassed plotted with her daughter and had him beheaded.
Mar 6:17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.
Mar 6:18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.
Mar 6:19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:
Mar 6:20 For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
Mar 6:21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief [estates] of Galilee;
Mar 6:22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give [it] thee.
Mar 6:23 And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give [it] thee, unto the half of my kingdom.
Mar 6:24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.
Mar 6:25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.
Mar 6:26 And the king was exceeding sorry; [yet] for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.
Mar 6:27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,
Mar 6:28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.
Mar 6:29 And when his disciples heard [of it], they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.
Mar 6:30 ¶ And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.
